There are times when you just have a lot of herbs hanging around, and you have dried as many herbs as you can handle at the moment. Okay… maybe that is just me. But this year, I thought I would get a little more creative in my Christmas cards with herbs!

Herbs like rosemary, thyme, and sage just scream holiday to me, so in my cards, I put a little spring of each, along with little round beads to represent berries. Just enough to give someone that extra holiday cheer and savory aroma of the holiday season. I just hope all of the cards survive the trip through the United States Postal Service. The little beads do give the card a little extra girth. Fingers crossed the cards make it to all of my friends and family.
What’s next?
My next non-culinary project with herbs is making a sage and rosemary wreath. I have the foam wreath, pins, and ribbon. All I need now is to make my way into the garden to collect a basket full of herbs. Stay tuned.
